Beam N Read ® Classic Hands Free Light Review
The first such light, which had only 2 AA batteries, lasted over 10 years. When it died, I hoped I could find an exact replacement. This is made by the same company, but is designed a bit differently, and it's black instead of pink. This time it uses 4 AA batteries, which makes it a bit heavier but should also make the light last even longer.br /br /The conecpt of this is brilliant. Instead of trying to attach the light to the book (how's that gonna work if I want to read The New Yorker or The New York Times in bed??), this one attaches the light to you, facing out at the book or magazine or newspaper or knitting--or if you're in a motel room, it will help you find your way to the bathroom. br /br /It looks a little gorky, but it works like a charm.

Customer Reviews
I loved it before it broke my heart - Reader B - Decatur, GA United StatesI was thrilled when my Beam N Read light arrived. I LOVED it when I was knitting at night. But after a couple of hours the bulb started getting weaker and weaker. I tried to replace the bulb with the one which came with the light. I couldn't get the current bulb out and was afaid to I might break it if I kept trying. Now I will go to a Batteries Plus and see if they can help. I really want to get my light back and functioning!
NOT WORTH THE MONEY - Charles Hunnicutt - leicester, nc usa
